From the ashes of blink-182, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker decided in 2005 to
form a new band in a similar musical vein. With their first album, When Your
Heart Stops Beating, released in 2006, the +44 managed to impose their style,
and at the same time win back the fans orphaned by blink-182.
