A*Teens
A*Teens started life as a teenage ABBA tribute band in 1998. They made their
album debut with 'The ABBA Generation' in 1998, an album of ABBA covers given a
Euro-dance makeover. In 2000 they had a European number one hit with their cover
of 'Mamma Mia', 25 years after ABBA had taken the original song to the top of
the charts. They toured with Britney Spears and N*SYNC and appeared on
Nickelodeon's 'All That' tour on the back of the album's success.
The band's second album was 'Teen Spirit' in 2000, which featured original pop
