AJ Tracey
Born in Brixton, south London, British rapper and producer AJ Tracey (born Ché
Wolton Grant on March 4, 1994) grew up in a musical environment with a
Trinidadian rapper father and a Welsh DJ mother. He studied criminology before
devoting himself to music. Fascinated by the first generation of grime artists,
he took over and recorded two mixtapes under the pseudonym Looney: Didn't Make
the Cut (2012) and No More Looney (2014). While continuing to work for pirate
radio stations, he successively released five EPs in three years, from The Front
