Alci Acosta
The Colombian bolero singer and pianist Alci Acosta is popular throughout Latin
America and is best known for his million-selling hit single 'Tracionera'. He
was born in Soledad, Atlántico in 1938 and is the father of the popular folk
singer Checo Acosta.
Aciosta plays a broad range of traditional South American musical styles
including pasillos, corridos, valses, and rancheras and singles such as 'La
