Born on July 17, 2003 in Jamaica, Jamaican-English pop singer-songwriter Amaria BB relocated to the UK when she was young and grew up in Hackney, London. She began displaying a talent for singing around the age of 8 years old and won the first season of the British TV show Got What It Takes? in 2006 when she was aged just 12.
