Anouar Brahem is a noted jazz musician from Tunisia who plays the traditional
Arabic oud stringed instrument. He studied at Tunisia's National Conservatory of
Music and moved to Paris where he worked with choreographer Maurice Béjart on
his ballet 'Thelassa Mare Nostrum' and played the lute on Gabriel Yared's score
for the feature film 'Hanna K.' (1983) by Costa-Gavras. He has released several
