Art Lande
Art Lande is a renowned American jazz pianist from New York City who has
released many albums and had a long career as a teacher. He garnered attention
in 1973 with an album titled 'Red Lanta' with Norwegian saxophonist Jan
Garbarek. In 1976, he formed a group called Rubisa Patrol with trumpeter and
later film composer Mark Isham. They released three albums, 'Rubisa Patrol'
(1976), 'Desert Marauders' (1977) and 'The Story of Ba-Ku' (1978). His other
albums include 'Shift in the Wind' (1980) with bassist Gary Peacock and drummer
