Born in Norrköping, Sweden on February 24, 1993, Axel Schylström is a singer
best-known for competing on the 11th season of Swedish Idol in 2015. At the age
of 9, he was involved in a serious accident with a power line that gave him
burns over 70% of his body. However, this did not interfere with his dream of
becoming a singer and, in 2015, he auditioned for televised talent show Swedish
Idol. He was selected to be a contestant on the 11th season of the show, where
he became a fan favorite. He released his debut single, “The Champion,” in 2015.
