Bacilos are a trio of Latin pop performers formed in Miami, Florida, in 1997 featuring singer and guitarist Jorge Villamizar, bassist André Lopes and drummer José Javier Freire. Their eponymous debut release was nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards and their 2003 follow-up, 'Caraluna' had six nominations; winning Best Pop Album By a Duo or Group With Vocals and Best Tropical Song for 'Mi Primer Millón'.
