Back Number is a Japanese rock trio. They formed in 2004 and after several
lineup changes the current trio made their debut with the 2009 EP Ato No Matsuri
('Fish Set Free') and the 2010 album Too Late. The band's main songwriter is
vocalist Iyori Shimizu accompanied by Kazuya Kojima (bass guitar, backing
vocals) and drummer Hisashi Kurihara, who joined in 2006. Their next album was
the popular 2011 release Superstar followed by albums Blues (2012), Love Story
