Bernard Allison is a blues guitarist and singer from Chicago, Illinois and the
son of Luther Allison, also famous in the same field.
Allison gained the music bug from his father Luther, following him and his
career over the course of the 1970s and being introduced to the likes of the
legendary Muddy Waters amongst others. Teaching himself to play the guitar at
the age of 12, during his studies while his father was touring internationally,
he was forced to stay in school but once graduating, Allison was straight out on
tour initially with Koko Taylor's band.
