Billy Talent
As an integral part of Canada's independent rock scene since the early 1990s,
Billy Talent consistently mixed heart-on-sleeve, punchy punk riffs with bouncy,
singalong choruses and a relentless honesty and driving energy. Growing up in
the suburbs of Mississauga, Ontario, school friends Benjamin Kowalewicz
(vocals), Ian D'Sa(guitar / keyboards), Jonathan Gallant (bass), and Aaron
Solowoniuk (drums) started out in 1993 under the name Pezz and grew from
covering Rage Against the Machine, The Clash and Jane's Addiction songs, to
