Formed in 1988 in Italy, Black Box is a Italo-dance/Eurodance group best known
for their early hits in the 1990s including the genre-defining “Ride on Time”.
Formed by Valerio Semplici, Daniele Davoli, and Mirko Limoni, the trio was
initially a production team that went by the name Starlight. Their debut single,
“Numero Uno”, was released in 1988, reaching Number 9 on the UK singles chart.
After a few more releases and productions, they changed their name to Black Box
