Bonnie Pink is the stage name of Japanese singer, songwriter, and
multi-instrumentalist Kaori Asada. She was born in Nantan, Kyoto, on April 16,
1973, and released her debut album, Blue Jam, in 1995. Two years later, Heaven's
Kitchen marked the beginning of her fruitful partnership with The Cardigans'
Tore Johansson, who quickly became her go-to producer. The album climbed to
Number 8 in Japan and went platinum, while 1998's gold-selling Evil and Flowers
