Boom Desjardins, real name Daniel Desjardins, is a Quebec singer born on June
16, 1971 in Val-d'Or, in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. He formed the group
La Chicane in 1993 with Alain Villeneuve. He remained a member of this group,
with radio hits such as "Calvaire" and "Juste pour voir le monde", until 2004,
when he embarked on a solo career. His first solo album, Boom Desjardins, was
produced by Aerosmith collaborator John Webster. It featured several radio
