Boulou Ferré is one of the great figures of jazz guitar, best known for his
recordings in the Manouche style, although his instrumental skills extend far
beyond this genre. Son of Matelo Ferret, a member of the Hot Club de France
quintet, and elder brother of Élios Ferré, the prodigy was just twelve years old
when he recorded his first album and made a name for himself in concert. In the
