Singer Valeska Steiner, originally from Zürich, Switzerland, and German Sonja
Glass met at Hamburg University in 2005. Two years later, they formed BOY and
began performing a series of concerts. They were then spotted by Grönland
Records label boss Herbert Grönemeyer, who signed them in 2011 and enabled them
to record the acoustic EP Hungry Beast. Their debut album, Mutual Friends,
followed in September 2011. It quickly climbed the German album charts, reaching
number 14, while the single "Little Numbers" illustrated a number of films and a
Lufthansa airline advert in 2012, takin...
