The indie-pop act Boy Pablo is the brainchild of multi-instrumentationalist
Nicolas Muñoz. Born in the late 1990s to parents originally from Chile, he was
raised in Norway. He learned numerous instruments as a child and studied music
at school. He issued his debut single, “Flowers”, under the Boy Pablo moniker in
2016. Later that year, he was awarded a Bergenfest scholarship, giving him the
money to record his self-titled 2017 EP which included the track “Everytime”, a
viral hit that brought him international attention. His follow up EP, 2018’s Soy
