Camille Bazbaz, or simply Bazbaz (born in Suresnes in 1967), is a singular
figure on the French chanson scene. Coming from alternative rock through the
group Le Cri de la Mouche, he released his Dubadelik project in 1996, in a style
of dub song that he was trying to impose in France. The failure was predictable,
but constructive. The original author, composer and musician surprised audiences
with his stage presence, and opened up new horizons with his film scores(Comme
