Born Franck Hueso in Poitiers, France in 1977, the darkwave / synthwave artist
is better known by his stage name Carpenter Brut. First coming to prominence in
2012, he has become a popular figure in the darkwave scene while maintain his
privacy and adding an air of mystery to his on-stage persona. Influenced by
artists like Toto, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative,
