Catherine Major is a Juno-nominated vocalist from Outremont, Quebec, where she
was born on February 18, 1980. At four years old, she began studying piano in
Canada, laying the foundation for the mix of pop music and French chanson that
she would later explore with her solo albums. Par-dessus bord, her debut record,
was released in 2004, and Catherine Major supported the record with a tour
