Born Lucie Bernier on December 17, 1950 in Longueuil (Canada), Chantal Pary is a pop singer from Quebec. Her career began at the age of 15 in cabarets in the Laurentian region of Quebec. She scored her first hit with the single " L'Amour est passé " in 1968. She was voted revelation of the year at the Gala des artistes in 1969. In January 1970, she opened for singer Sacha Distel at Place des Arts in Montreal (Canada). During the 1970s, Chantal Pary scored several number-one hits on the Quebec charts, including " Ma Vie, c'est toi " (1971, #1 for 6 weeks), " Pour vivre ensemble " ...
