Circus Maximus
A melodic progressive metal band from Oslo, Norway, Circus Maximus created a
sensation with their debut album The 1st Chapter (2005), delivering a subtle
blend of hard rock anthems, accessible vocal melodies and technical metal
elements. Immediately compared to Symphony X and Dream Theater, the quintet
established itself as the successor to a style that was beginning to run out of
steam.
