CJ Hilton arrived on the neo-soul and rap scene in 2010 with the tracks "It
Ain't Easy" and "We Can Get It". He's no longer an unknown, however: CJ Hilton
made his debut at the age of sixteen in 2004 as a backing singer for Mario. In
2007, CJ Hilton performed a duet with Mario. In 2008, Raphael Saadiq invited
this fan of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder to guest on the track "Never Give You
Up" , also featuring Stevie Wonder. In 2011, CJ Hilton duets with Nas on "So
Fresh", before releasing "Cold Summer " in October, foreshadowing his debut
album.
