While the bass is the king instrument of reggae, few Jamaican bassists have a major solo career. Clinton Fearon is an exception, especially as the former bassist with The Gladiators is also a confirmed multi-instrumentalist and a convincing singer. After moving to the USA in 1987, Clinton Fearon's career stalled, before rebounding in Europe with Give and Take in 2004.
