Clothilde
Real name Élisabeth Beauvais, the 1960s singer Clothilde is best remembered for
her cult hits "Fallait pas écraser la queue du chat" and "Saperlipopette".
Daughter of writer and radio personality Robert Beauvais and actress Gisèle
Parry, she was born on February 22, 1948 and made her name in 1967 with the
psychedelic, modern "Fallait pas écraser la queue du chat", her first record for
the Vogue label, arranged by Éric Demarsan. Released on a now rare and
