Congreso is a renowned Chilean musical group whose extensive body of work spans
from progressive rock to jazz fusion and Andean music. The band was founded in
Quilpué in 1969 by the González brothers: Sergio, Fernando, and Patricio, along
with Francisco Sazo and Fernando Hurtado. This formation was a merger of two
bands, Los Masters and Los Sicodélicos. Initially a garage rock band covering
