Cora is a German pop duo that was founded in Berlin in the early 1980s. The band
consists of Cornelia Freifrau von dem Bottlenberg, born in 1951, and Swetlana
von dem Bottlenberg (née Minkow), born in Bulgaria in 1951. Cora's musical genre
is New German Wave and pop. The two musicians met in the 1970s as backing
singers for Marianne Rosenberg's recordings. Their career as a duo began in the
