An American singer/songwriter who specializes in empathetic sketches of
characters in difficult times of their life, Courtney Marie Andrews was born
November 7, 1990 in Phoenix, Arizona. Andrews began writing songs as a teenager
and set about trying to play live wherever she could, eventually finding herself
in Los Angeles. She found success as a backup singer and guitarist for
established acts and struck out on her own with the 2008 album Urban Myths. She
