Cuco is the alias of Omar Banos, a California-raised singer/songwriter whose indie-pop music is shaped by a diverse mix of Latin and American influences. Born on June 26, 1998, in Inglewood, California, he was raised by Mexican immigrants and embraced music as a young child, performing seven instruments by the age of 15. After graduating high school, he self-released his debut EP, Heavy Trip, in 2015 and adopted the "Cuco" moniker shortly thereafter.
