Curved Air are a British progressive rock band established in 1970. They have
famously disbanded and reformed three times after they first performed with
singer Sonja Kristina, with guitarist and keyboard player Francis Monkman,
drummer Florian Pilkington-Miska, violinist Darryl Way and bassist Rob Martin
from the band Sisyphus. Their colourful and flamboyant debut album 'Air
Conditioning' (1970) went to number eight on the UK Official Albums Chart and
their eponymous second album reached number eleven in 1971. The track 'Back
Street Luv' from that release peaked at number four. ...
