Dan Tepfer
A piano prodigy, American Dan Tepfer studied music extensively and won numerous
awards before winning over jazz critics with his trio albums( 2005'sBefore The
Storm , 2007's Oxygen ), soloalbums (Twelve Free Improvisations in Twelve Keys)
and duet albums (2009's Duos With Lee with Lee Konitz). The restless young
masterclass teacher is teeming with both classical and jazz projects. In 2013,
the pianist teamed up with saxophonist Ben Wendel on the album Small
Constructions and the tour that followed.
