hard rock band Daughtry was formed by former American Idol contestant Chris
Daughtry in 2006, following his fourth place finish on Idol's fifth season.
Based in McLeansville, North Carolina, the group debuted with "It's Not Over,"
which reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Number 1 on Adult Pop
Airplay. The follow-up single, "Home," also topped the Adult Pop Airplay chart.
