David Leonard is an American CCM singer-songwriter and record producer, known for his heartfelt and introspective worship music. Originally from southeast Arkansas, David Leonard's early exposure to ministry came through his father, who became a pastor when he was 15. This laid the foundation for his deep connection to worship music. Before going solo, he was part of the Christian Southern rock band Jackson Waters, and later toured with NEEDTOBREATHE as a keyboardist.
