David Tao
A multi-time Golden Melody Award winner, David Tao blends R&B and hard rock into
his own form of successful Mandopop. Born to Taiwanese parents on July 11, 1969,
he spent the first half of his childhood in Hong Kong before moving to Taipei,
Taiwan. His family relocated yet again during Tao's teenage years, this time
settling in California. Tao remained in Los Angeles until the mid-1990s, when he
returned to Taiwan and launched a music career with his self-titled debut album
