The German pop band Die Flippers was founded in 1964, disbanded in 2011 and most
recently consisted of the trio Manfred Durban, Bernd Hengst and Olaf Malolepski.
At the beginning of the band's history, the formation still consisted of six
members and was called the Dancing (Show) Band. But by the time their first
single "Weine nicht, kleine Eva" (1969) was released, they had already found
their final band name, Die Flippers. The song became their breakthrough and a
