Born in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, DJ Vadim moved to England in
his youth. His credo is based on an all-out mix of genres, with hip-hop serving
as the basis for digressions incorporating jazz/soul/crooners/electro/noise.
Influenced mainly by DJ Cam and DJ Krush, he releases albums of remarkable
quality, always inventive. USSR Repertoire (1996), USSR Reconstruction (1998),
The Isolationist (1999) and The Soundcatcher (2007) are good introductions to
his world.
