Between 1978 and 1997, Dorothée's programs for young people were veritable
social phenomena, so much so that she became the embodiment of a whole
generation's childhood memories. Starting out as a radio announcer, Dorothée was
entrusted with the Récré A2 show in 1978, marking the start of a twenty-year
hold on youngsters, culminating in Club Dorothée 's 80% audience share from 1987
onwards. Dorothée also became a singer, regularly filling the Palais Omnisports
de Paris Bercy. Dorothée Bercy 93 is representative of her audience's enthusiasm
