Descended from a line of Senegalese griots, Doudou N'Diaye Rose (1930-2015) has
devoted his life to the knowledge and teaching of percussion. This passion,
which pursued him since childhood, led to a long career as a master drummer in
1960, followed by teaching, performing and conducting. A national glory in
Senegal, this rhythm expert gained international recognition with the album
