Drupi is one of Italy's leading crooners. Endowed with an indispensable warm,
husky voice, he seduced audiences with the immense "Vado Via " in 1973, which
went on to sell nine million copies worldwide. His formula combined Italian
romance with pop melodies inspired by The Beatles and The Moody Blues. A
trailblazer, he conquered the entire Latino market with Castilian versions of
his hits. All his hits can be found on one or other of the Best of albums
regularly devoted to him.
