Dschinghis Khan
Dschinghis Khan are a German Euro pop/disco band who were originally formed to
represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest with their single 'Dschinghis
Khan' in 1979, where they finished fourth. They released their self-titled debut
album in the same year which features the Eurovision hit.
Despite having formed in Germany, the band's members hail from countries across
Europe and even South Africa. In 1986, three members of the band, who formed as
