Elli Medeiros
A Uruguayan singer and actress living in France, Elli Medeiros is best known for
her hit "Toi mon toit " and her participation in the punk band Stinky Toys. Born
in Montevideo on January 18, 1956, she attended the theater performances of her
actress mother, and played children's roles in plays, operas and on television.
When her parents separated, she followed her mother to Argentina, then to Paris
at the age of fourteen, where she joined her partner Jacno (born Denis
Quilliard) in the punk band Stinky Toys, which was featured on the cover of the
