Elvana Gjata
Commonly referred to as “the Diva of Albanian music,” Elvana Gjata is a pop
singer-songwriter and actress from Tirana. Born into a poor household on
February 3, 1987, she began performing at the age of 14 and auditioned for the
talent show Ethet e së premtes mbrëma. After an unsuccessful attempt to
represent Albania at the 42nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, Elvana
Gjata released her first single “Të Kam Xhan” in 2005. With her studio debut
