Paris-born rapper Espiiem first came to prominence with his first group, Cas de
conscience, which lasted three years but ended when one of the members, Homme de
L'Est, died. In 2009, he joined The Hop, an eight-piece band including a brass
section, with whom he released a seven-track EP of the same name. Venturing out
on his own, he released the L'Eté à Paris EP in 2012, followed by Haute Voltige
in 2013, with its deeper, more ethereal ambiences. A year later, a limited
