Despite being a self-taught drummer and guitarist who grew up on rock music,
Nova Scotian artist Famba, aka Ryan Pettipas, has made a name for himself with
house-fuelled electronic pop.
Famba transitioned through numerous genres before finding his way to the catchy
electronic sound he has become known for. Growing up he listened extensively to
metal, progressive rock and grunge before dance music took a hold on him thanks
