FANICKO
Singer and rapper Adjanohoun Fanick Olivier was born on July 12, 1992 in
Cotonou, Benin. He is known as Fanicko or Fanicko de Jesus. In the early 2010s,
he formed the group Jerusalem Clan, with whom he made a name for himself, around
songs that were provocative, but which spoke to young people. Fanicko was
spotted by his "mentor" Mr Blazz, a well-known artist on the rap scene whose
label, Self-Made Man, helps young artists develop and structure their careers.
