Farrah Fawx is a genre-bending singer, rapper, and songwriter who launched her music career during the late-2000s under the name "Audra the Rapper." She was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in nearby Richmond, Virginia. Brandy, Missy Elliot, and Lauryn Hill were early inspirations, as was the gospel music she began singing in church at a young age.
