Flex (Nigga)
Panamanian reggaeton singer Flex first emerged on the music scene in 1997,
recording and self-publishing mixtapes. In 2000 he was spotted by Celia Torres,
a reggae producer, which led to him appearing on the track 'Dejala' (2000) with
singer Duende as part of the mixtape 'La Propias 2000'; this was a success in
several Latin American countries. He spent the next few years appearing on
collaborations and touring throughout Latin America, particularly Ecuador, where
he garnered a large fan base.
