Born in Arezzo, Italy in 1984, Francesco Corit is an organist, harpsichordist
and conductor. Born into a family of musicians, he learned to play the organ in
Perugia, then studied the harpsichord in Geneva and Amsterdam. In 2006, he won
the prestigious Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig, as well as the
Bruges Harpsichord Competition in 2007. Corti was invited to numerous festivals
around the world, performing at the Mozart Woche, the Salzburg Festival, the
BachFest in Leipzig and the Utrecht Early Music Festival, alongside major
