The association between gospel singer Fred Hammond and the Radical for Christ group proved successful in the late 1990s. Born in Detroit on December 27, 1960, Frederick William Hammond had just established his career with the group Commission, when he decided to surround himself with the Radical for Christ choir, made up of young singers from Detroit.
